Informed Stewardship
With its educational programs, HRH fosters informed stewardship of our historic resources. In addition to the annual Country Seats Tour of important architecture, HRH sponsors symposia on architecture and historic preservation and a variety of other events.
Lectures
Recent HRH lectures have focused on the Dutch influence, the villa tradition, and ice boating on the Hudson.
Field Trips
2010 Astor Courts (originally Ferncliff Casino), tour conducted by its owner and Samuel G. White, great-grandson of the architect Stanford White.
2009 Van Hoesen House, in Claverack NY, the unrestored circa 1730 Dutch American architecture suggests that pockets of Dutch expression persisted long after the English conquest of 1664. Supporting preservation efforts by the Van Hoesen House Historical Foundation.

HRH offers the Hudson River Heritage Scholarship Program and Sense of Place essay contest, awarding scholarships to high school students.
